In vitro testing by 96-well melting of 160 compounds identified by in silico screening shows that some of the compounds substantially increase the melting temperature of the antiparallel hybrid 1 quadruplex. The ΔTm (the change in melting temperature) is defined as the melting temperature of the quadruplex only substracted from the melting temperature of the quadruplex + ligand.
