Five-week-old Col-0 leaves were hand-infiltrated with 1×10⁸ cfu/ml Pst DC3000ΔCEL carrying YFP, RXLR29 or ATR13, as indicated. Leaf samples were taken at 12 h after infection and stained with aniline blue to visualize callose (A). The number of callose spots was quantified in each sample (B). The experiment was repeated three times with similar results.
