Acute deletion of Iop1 in adult mice. Control (CON; Iop1f/f) or conditional knock-out (CKO; Iop1f/f; Rosa26-creERT2) mice at 6–7 weeks of age were treated with tamoxifen for three consecutive days. After the last tamoxifen dose, livers were harvested, and both RNA and protein extracts were prepared. A and F, levels of Iop1 (A) or Tfr1 (F) message were quantitated by real time PCR (n = 3).
