Acini were pretreated with lobatomide-B, salicylihalamide-A (0.01-1μM) or carrier (0.1% DMSO) for 1 hour. Cerulein 100nM was then added to the appropriate wells and acini incubated for 1 hour. Samples were assayed for trypsin and chymotrypsin activity. Results are expressed as fold vs cerulein 100nM. All samples represent the mean +/- SEM of at least 3 experiments. * = p <= 0.05 vs CER 100nM.
