Kupffer cells are CD68 stained and appear brown on a counterstained blue background. B. Biopsies from 51/76 subjects with ≥ 1 postal vein and ≥1 centrilobular vein were evaluated for a total of 122 portal and 95 centrilobular veins. Kupffer cells were quantified as described. Groups were compared using Wilcoxon rank-sum tests.
