Mice were inoculated subcutaneously with LAC, LACΔsaeR/S (1×107 cfu) or DPBS for 8 hours. Infected tissues were excised and homogenized for bacterial load enumeration and IFN-γ concentration measurements. (A) Bacterial burden at the site of infection.
