Concentrations of PGE2 were measured in medium of the amnion- and decidua-facing chambers of Transwell cultures of human gestational membranes after 1, 4, 8 and 24 h of exposure to 100 ng/ml LPS (added to both the amniotic and decidual chambers of the cultures). Concurrent controls were exposed to culture medium without LPS. A) PGE2 concentrations in amniotic chamber medium. B) PGE2 concentrations in decidual chamber medium.
