Paternally expressed genes exhibit a more dynamic regulation in a paternal transmission. Parent-specific gene expression in adult F3 female offspring of both maternal [top panel, 3HF(M)] and paternal [bottom panel, 3HF(P)] lineages. Analysis by logistic regression of imprinted genes revealed a trend (P = 0.106) that paternally expressed genes (black bars) exhibited more dynamic regulation in 3HF(P) relative to 3HF(M) when compared with maternally expressed genes (white bars).
