Shox2 expression in the developing DRG. A, In situ hybridization experiments show that at E10.5 and E11.5 Shox2 is expressed throughout the entire DRG; at E14.5, Shox2 expression begins to downregulate in subsets of DRG neurons; and by E18.5 and P0, Shox2 is only present in a small number of DRG neurons.
