Analysis of GUN4 and Mg-Chelatase Subunit Levels in 100 μmol m⁻² s⁻¹ and 850 μmol m⁻² s⁻¹ White Light.

Seedlings were grown either in 100 μmol m⁻² s⁻¹ white light for 7 d (LL) or in 100 μmol m⁻² s⁻¹ for 3 d and then transferred 850 μmol m⁻² s⁻¹ white light for 4 d (HL) as indicated in Figure 2. Whole seedling extracts were prepared from the indicated mutant or the indicated stably transformed line. Aliquots of these whole seedling extracts that contained 10 μg of protein were analyzed by immunoblotting using the following antibodies: anti-GUN4, anti-ChlH, anti-ChlI, or anti-ChlD. When faint bands were observed in extracts from HL-treated seedlings, exposures were adjusted so that these faint bands were observable.
