(A) A diagram showing the light treatment schemes. Seeds were treated with either a far-red pulse (FR_p, 2.8 μmol·m⁻²·s⁻¹ for 5 min) or a far-red pulse followed by a red pulse (R_p, 18.7 μmol·m⁻²·s⁻¹ for 5 min) 1 h after the start of seed sterilization, before transferring the seeds to the dark.
