AAT inhibits HIV replication in primary CD4+ T cells cultured alone or with FDC supernatant. CD4+ T cells were isolated from the peripheral blood and infected with HIV. The infected cells were cultured for 72 h in the presence or absence of FDC supernatant (10% v/v) and with or without AAT at the concentrations indicated.
