Axial eye length and lens thickness in Aca47 mutants. Both parameters are given for wild-types (WT) and heterozygous mutants (A/+), both for females and males. Eye size determination of homozygous mutants was prevented by congenital cataracts. Female axes and lenses are slightly smaller than those of males.
