MDA5−/−, TLR3−/−, and their control mice were infected with RV1B. Twenty-four h after infection, RV1B-induced neutrophil infiltration was determined in MDA5−/− mice (A) and TLR3−/− mice (B) along with their respective controls. Data represent mean±SEM for 3–7 mice, *p<0.05, one-way ANOVA). Total respiratory system resistance of MDA5−/− (C) and TLR3−/− (D) mice were determined by plethysmography.
