Expression of caveolin-1 inhibits ROMK channels. (A) Whole cell recordings show that expression of caveolin-1 (CAV) enhances the decrease in K currents in HEK293 cells transfected with ROMK1 and treated with BFA. The experiments were performed 24 hours after transfection with the perforated whole cell recording at the voltage from −100 to 60 mV with a 20-mV increment.
