Adult Caenorhabditis elegans lifespan extension mediated by the GD1 Escherichia coli diet is not decreased by supplementation with NovaSOL Q₁₀. Survival curves are shown for N2 worms cultured at 20 °C and fed either Q₈-replete OP50 (black symbols) or Q-less GD1 (white symbols) E. coli. Worms were cultured for two generations on unsupplemented nematode growth medium (●,○), medium supplemented with NovaSOL Q₁₀ (150 μg Q₁₀ mL⁻¹, ▲, △), or vehicle control (■, □). The vehicle control contains medium chain triglycerides as the neutral lipid core in place of Q₁₀. Similar results were obtained for N2 worms fed the each of the stated diet for one generation.
