Young’s modulus as a function of age for human and non-human primate samples. The age scale for the non-human primates was 1 NHP year=3 human years2627. Young’s modulus of elasticity of the combined data was analyzed as a function of age using linear regression analysis. The p-value of this regression analysis was used to evaluate statistical significance. Young human capsule elasticity is comparable to non-human primate capsule elasticity.
