Abbreviations: N/A, not available; PHB, polyhydroxybutyrate; SBR, sequencing batch reactor.
Absolute length of the feast phase during one cycle measurement.
Relative length of the feast phase over total cycle length.
The PHB content at the end of the feast phase.
The PHB content at the end of the famine phase.
The maximum biomass specific substrate uptake rate. ‘–' indicates the consumption of substrate.
Rate constant of PHB degradation. It was used to estimate the PHB degradation rate during the famine phase. ‘–' indicates the consumption of PHB.
The short-term temperature change experiment.
The s.ds. are given in the brackets. Within the experiments, without repeating, the s.ds. are marked as not available (N/A).
