SSE identification. For Mm-cpn, SSEHunter (an EMAN program) was run as a plug-in to UCSF’s Chimera. The results are shown in a wherein the red spheres represent helix-like regions and the blue spheres represent sheet-like regions. SSEBuilder, also an EMAN program, run as plug-in in UCSF’s Chimera, is shown in b. Regions of similar scoring pseudoatoms from SSEHunter are grouped and then built using SSEBuilder. Helices are shown as green cylinders. Six pseudoatoms are highlighted in green and are shown in the SSEBuilder dialog before constructing a helix.
