Note that the open circles of controls (Ctrl) show significant left-side dominance for the phonemic condition, whereas those of people who stutter (PWS) show right-side dominance for the same condition. Control (Ctrl) data were adopted from Furuya and Mori (2003), Furuya et al. (2001), and Sato et al., (2003).
