Augmentation of UVA sensitisation using raltitrexed. Cells were cultured for two cell-doubling times with 20 μM S⁴TdR and RTX as indicated. Cells were detached and re-plated in 96-well plates and irradiated under a thin layer of PBS (0.5 kJ m⁻² UVA for MYU-3L cells and 2.5 kJ m⁻² for RT4, MBT2 and AY27 cells). After irradiation, 150 μl of fresh growth medium was replaced. Surviving cells were stained and scored after 5 days. All values represent the mean±s.e.m. of 10 replicates.
