Allele-specific gene expression analysis at organ level. Gene-specific cDNA fragments were amplified by RT-PCR from total RNAs prepared from various organs of adult F1 (C57BL/6J female × Mus spretus male) hybrid mice. To distinguish each parental allele, the PCR products were digested with restriction enzymes (MspI for Igfals, MspI for Nubp2, BamHI for Jsap1) and run on the agarose gels.
