CCR5 is dispensable for Treg migration once in the periphery. RAG1−/− mice were reconstituted with WT CD4+ T cells and WT or CCR5−/− CD4+ CD25+ cells purified from the spleen and infected with 2 × 106 yeasts 1 d later. Number of CD4+ CD25+ Foxp3+ cells (A) and fungal burden (B) in the lungs of RAG1−/− mice reconstituted with WT or CCR5−/− CD4+CD25+ cells at day 14 postinfection. Fungal burden is presented as the mean number of CFUs. Data represent the mean ± SEM (n = 8–12) from two to three experiments. **p < 0.01.
