Mice deficient in ERK1 show no impairment on the rotarod task. There was no significant difference between the amount of time ERK1−/− (open box; n = 10) and wild-type (filled circle; n = 8) mice spent balanced on the accelerating rotarod. Performance in both sets of mice improved significantly over the course of eight trials.
