Interfacial residues in the crystal structure were identified using ePISA [41] and are shown in green. Protein-protein and protein-graphite contact residues are highlighted in red and cyan respectively. As described in the Method Sections, the distance cutoff (d_c) was set to 4.5 Å and 4.0 Å for the definition of the protein-protein and protein-graphite contacts respectively.
