Parts (b)–(e) show reconstructed emission (EM) images obtained when applying the following attenuation corrections (ACs): (b) no AC; (c) ideal (perfect) AC; (d) AC for cylinder attenuation, but not for coil (MRAC); (e) AC using linear attenuation coefficients obtained from a CT scan of the object (CTAC); (f) profiles along horizontal and vertical lines through the center of the images in (c), (d), and (e).
