Osteoblast-specific Capns1 knockout mutant mice showed reduced serum total osteocalcin (OCN) levels (A), which was mainly due to a significant reduction of uncarboxylated osteocalcin levels (B). Mutant mice had lower body weight (C) and were leaner (D) than control mice.
