Proximate fraction. The table shows the fraction of complex repeated 40-mers in a given category that are proximate, i.e., have all their copies within 3% of the length of each chromosome on which they occur more than once. For all genomes, the majority of chromosomal 40-mers are proximate, whereas most multichromosomal 40-mers are not.
