Complementary DNA was obtained from cells isolated from DDC-treated liver tissue by FACS (50,000 cells per sort) and assessed by QPCR for the expression of representative genes. Individual ΔCt results were normalized to GAPDH and are reported relative to the levels observed in unsorted NPC from DDC-treated liver. The normalized ΔCt results used were the averages of three independent cDNA amplifications.
