In vitro effects of LXR activation by GW3965 on T-cell response to alloantigens. Mixed lymphocyte reaction was performed with co-incubating T cell–depleted splenocytes from BALB/c mice with T cells purified from spleens of C57BL/6 mice. GW3965-pretreated T cells (3 μmol/L for 16 hours) secreted significantly lower amounts of IL-2 and IFN-γ, as measured in the cell culture supernatant fluids after 24 and 72 hours co-incubation.
