Microvascular inflammation is observed in hematopoietic Fas−/−→Ldlr−/− chimeric mice. Liver and lung tissue from Fas−/− and WT hematopoietic chimeras generated on Ldlr−/− background were evaluated after 16 weeks on an 0.5% cholesterol diet.
