Detrusor pressure in response to electrical stimulation depended on the location of urethral stimulation. Stimulation of the bladder neck (via contact #1) did not evoke a bladder contraction (A), but bladder contractions were evoked by stimulation of the proximal portion of the prostatic urethra (via contact #2) (B) and by stimulation of the distal portion of the prostatic urethra (via contact #3) (C).
