Effect of 15d-PGJ₂-G upon IL-2 secretion by activated Jurkat cells. Jurkat cells (5 × 10⁵ cells/ml) were either left untreated (NT, no treatment) or treated with CGZ (50 μM), 15d-PGJ₂ (0.1–10 μM), 15d-PGJ₂-G (0.1–10 μM), or vehicle (VEH of agonist, 0.1% EtOH) for 30 min. Cells were then stimulated with 40 nM PMA/0.5 μM ionomycin (P/I) for 24 h. The supernatants were harvested, and IL-2 production was measured by ELISA. The results are the mean ± S.E. of triplicate cultures. *, p < 0.05, statistically significant compared with VEH of agonist. The results are representative of three separate experiments.
