Poly(3HB) and poly(3HB-co-3MP) accumulation in R. eutropha H16. Cells were cultivated in MSM under storage conditions containing (i) 1% (w/v) sodium gluconate, (ii) 1% (w/v) sodium gluconate plus 1% (v/v) TDP, or (iii) DTDP. After 24, 48, 72, and 96 h of cultivation, the poly(3HB) or poly(3HB-co-3MP) contents of the cells were analyzed by gas chromatography.
