Tissue-specific distribution of cliotides in C. ternatea. Eight different plant parts were collected including flower, stem, shoot, root, leaf, seed, pod, and nodule. The extracts were profiled by mass spectrometry. The peaks are labeled according to the masses of the corresponding cliotides. Peaks labeled K+ indicate the potassium adducts (+38 Da).
