NMP had no cytotoxic effect on RAW264.7 cells. Cells were seeded on a 96-well plate and treated for either 24 h (a) or 72 h (b) with different concentrations of NMP or with RANKL and NMP (c) as indicated. Cell viability/cytotoxicity was measured using WST-1 reagent as described under “Experimental Procedures.” The results were normalized to cells grown in DMEM alone (control (Ctl)). Data are expressed as the mean ± S.D. (n = 4) from a representative experiment.
