A total of 10 µg of protein was loaded in each lane. (B) Correlations between the mean normalised RAD51 levels derived from three independent western blots (two blots for V4) and the α parameter obtained from fitted survival curves for each cell line (see Table 1 and Fig. 4). The corresponding correlation coefficient and P value are shown on the graph. A similar correlation was seen when RAD51 expression was compared with the fractional growth at 2 Gy (R = 0.83, P = 0.042).
