Both adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs) and dermal fibroblasts (DFs) accelerated wound closure, but DFs were more effective than ASCs. (A) BALB/c nude mice were wounded and treated with collagen gel alone (control) or ASCs or DFs in collagen gel. After 10 days, photomicrographs were taken. The red line is the margin of unhealed wound that was not re-epithelialized. (B) The size of unhealed wound area was calculated with an image analysis program.
