For the total study sample, mean number of nursing visits/week was 2.4 ± 2.2, mean number of PT visits/week for those with ≥1 visits was 1.4 ± 0.9, mean number of HHA visits/week for those with ≥1 visits was 1.8 ± 1.4, and mean number of visits/week from all clinical staff was 3.4 ± 2.3.

Intensity = visits per week = (total number of visits in episode of care)/(length of episode of care in days) × 7.

Patients with ≥1 visits included in analysis.
