Primary human T cells phosphorylate Stat3 and Stat1 in response to IL-6. CD4⁺CD25^– T cells (A) and CD4⁺CD25^high Tregs (B) were isolated from peripheral blood of healthy donors and stimulated with or without 10 ng/ml rhIL-6 and 25 ng/ml sIL-6R. Protein lysates were prepared and probed with Abs specific for pStat3, pStat1, pErk1/2, total Erk1/2, and β-actin. The immunoblots shown are from the same healthy donor and are representative of three individual experiments.
