The HN-CO peptide bond between Cys139 and Cys140 was cut in order to study the “no-tandem” structures in both chain-A (without substrate) and chain-B (with substrate). The -CO group of Cys139 was replaced by a hydrogen, meanwhile a hydrogen was added to the -NH group of Cys140 to fill the open valence.
