Several predictors are represented by dummy variables: Gender: female = 1, marital status: married = 0, Immigration status: born in the United States is the excluded category, and country of origin: Jamaica is the excluded category. Income is coded in dollars and has been divided by 5,000 in order to increase effect sizes and provide a better understanding of the net impact of income. All of the coefficients are unstandardized.
