The construction of self-resembling faces. Self-resembling face stimuli were made by applying 50% of the shape differences between each participant's face (A) and a same-sex composite face (B) to same-sex (B) and opposite-sex (C) composite faces to produce same-sex (D) and opposite-sex (E) self-resembling faces.
