SCC25 cell morphology from proliferation assays, fixed with formalin and stained with crystal violet ((a–c)) or pre-fixation ((d–f)) demonstrate reduced proliferation and lower cell numbers under CE ((b, e)) or GSE ((c, f)) treatment compared with untreated controls ((a, d)).
