Furthermore, a phase image (bottom left), a pseudo-colored red NIR fluorescence image (bottom middle) and a pseudo-colored red merge (bottom right) of a 20 µm frozen tissue section of a colorectal liver metastasis is shown. The fluorescent rim in stromal tissue in the transition area between tumor and normal liver tissue can be clearly identified.
