Long-term effects of juvenile exposure to VEH, MPH, FLX, or MPH + FLX on protein phosphorylation within the VTA 2 months after the last injection (n = 8 per group). Exposure to MPH + FLX significantly increased the levels of phospho (p) ERK2 (A), p-CREB (B), and p-mTOR proteins (p < 0.05, respectively) (C) without affecting total (t) levels of protein when compared with the VEH-pretreated controls. *Significantly different from the VEH-pretreated controls (p < 0.05).
