Immunizations for adolescents[39]

  • Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) booster

  • Diphtheria-tetanus toxoid (dT) booster

  • Hepatitis B virus (HBV; 3 in series)

  • Hepatitis A virus (HAV; 2 in series; not routine; recommended for men who have sex with men)

  • Influenza (once yearly)

  • Pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (1 dose)

  • Haemophilus influenzae B (HIB; 1 dose; optional)39

  • Conjugated meningococcal vaccine- Menactra (optional)

  • HPV vaccine - It can be administered to females regardless of CD4%. Recommendation: females at age 11-12 years at 0, 2 and 6 months (minimum age 9, maximum age 26 years)[45,46}
