Cladribine inhibits proliferation/survival of MM cells. Human MM cells (1 × 10⁴ cells/well) were plated onto 96-well plates with complete culture medium (RPMI1640, 10% FBS). After 24 hrs, the medium was replaced with fresh medium (0.5% FBS) or same medium containing indicated concentrations of cladribine for another 72 hrs. The percentages of surviving cells as compared to controls, defined as 100% survival, were determined by reduction of MTS. Data shows the representative of three independent experiments. Bars, SD.
