Representative running trajectories in the 2-lane condition (Experiment 2). When separated by an opaque wall, running trajectories were not synchronized (top). When separated by a transparent wall, runs were more frequent and synchronized regardless of whether the feeder was separated (middle) or shared (bottom). All records were obtained on experimental day 5.
