Male and female astrocytes show a different regulation of TSPO levels after LPS exposure. mRNA levels of translocator protein 18 kDa (TSPO) and steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (StAR) in control and LPS-treated cortical astrocyte cultures from female and male mouse pups.
